Craft a Brew is based in Orlando, FL, and was founded in 2010. You can find out more on their About Us page. The page also expresses its sustainability efforts for the environment.
Their site is laid out well and very easy to navigate. The graphics for the various beer recipes are very cool. The company also has a strong focus on quality.
Some Recipe Kit Information is Wrong
The product pages offer a lot of information. It is almost information overload. Some of the information seems wrong. I am not sure how a lager recipe, with lager yeast, can be ready to drink in 4 weeks. That is wrong!
Looking at some of the traffic metrics I access, they get a fair amount of visitors. They are not up there with the likes of Northern Brewer, but they seemed to have gotten a traffic bump from a recent Google algorithm update.
Craft a Brew has a modest selection of 5- and 1-gallon recipe kits. They also sell hard cider, hard seltzer, kombucha, gin, mead, and wine kits. I have to admit, they lost me a little when they started selling hot sauce kits.
They also offer a decent selection of beer-making supplies and ingredients. Some have attractive prices; others, not so much.
They do offer free shipping on orders over $99.
Overall, they come in at number 6 in our top online beer supply stores. It’s worth your time to check them out.
